RENAC Power offers a turnkey solution of 500KW/1MWh commercial energy storage systems to an industrial park in Huzhou, China

Under the background of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” target strategy, the renewable energy has attracted much attention. With the continuous improvement of industrial and commercial photovoltaic policies and the introduction of various favorable policies, industrial and commercial energy storage has entered the fast lane of development.

 

On February 18, the 500KW/1000KWh industrial and commercial energy storage project invested and built by a well-known domestic pipe pile company in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province of China was officially put into operation. RENAC Power provides a complete set of equipment and EMS energy management system for this industrial and commercial energy storage project, and provides a “one-stop” solution for the project, covering “one-stop” services such as project filing, grid connection procedures, equipment installation and commissioning, etc.

 

According to the preliminary investigation of the project, the customer’s production site has a lot of high-power electrical equipment, frequent start-up of equipment, and large instantaneous load impact. The factory area has always encountered the problem of fines from the utility company due to insufficient transformer capacity and frequent tripping of high-voltage lines. The official commissioning and operation of the industrial and commercial energy storage system will completely solve this problem.

 

In addition to solving the problem of insufficient capacity of existing transformers and frequent tripping of high-voltage lines for customers, the system realizes the dynamic capacity expansion of transformers and lines, and also realizes “peak-shaving and valley-filling. The “grain arbitrage” model realizes economic income increase and achieves the win-win goal of electricity safety and economic income increase and efficiency increase.

 

This project adopts the RENAC RENA3000 series industrial and commercial outdoor energy storage all-in-one machine, BMS battery management system and EMS energy management system independently developed by RENAC Power.

The capacity of a single industrial and commercial outdoor energy storage machine is 100KW/200KWh. This project uses 5 energy storage devices to operate in parallel, and the total capacity of the project is 500KW/1000KWh. The lithium iron phosphate battery of the energy storage device uses 280Ah batteries produced by CATL, and the battery clusters of a single device are composed of 1P224S connected in series. The rated energy storage capacity of a single cluster battery is 200.7KWh.

The PCS module independently developed by RENAC Power has the advantages of high charge and discharge efficiency, stable operation, and easy parallel expansion; the self-developed BMS battery management system adopts a three-level architecture of cell level, PACK level, and cluster level until the monitoring The operating status of each battery cell; the self-developed EMS energy management system “escorts” the energy saving and consumption reduction of the production base and the stable operation of the energy storage system.

The energy storage system RENA3000 series industrial and commercial outdoor energy storage all-in-one machine is composed of lithium iron phosphate battery pack, energy storage bidirectional converter (PCS), battery management system (BMS), energy management system (EMS), gas fire protection system, environment It is composed of multiple subsystems such as control system, human-machine interface and communication system, and adopts an integrated and standardized structural design scheme. The IP54 protection level can meet the needs of indoor and outdoor installation. Both the battery pack and the converter adopt a modular design scheme, free combination can be applied to various scenarios, and multiple multi-stage parallel connections are convenient for capacity expansion.
